HTML5 is the new standard and the latest browsers will support HD video natively, without flash. Most platforms have their own plans and video will need to be served in H.264/Ogg & WebM to suit all devices. Mobiles such as iPhones and iPads have built-in chips to play this video smoothly and don't have the CPU power to run flash. Major sites like YouTube, Facebook are using these new formats so its going to catch on. The Sticky CMS supports the all the new HD video formats, and falls back to flash for older browsers.
