Upload your Media
The CMS can be configured to allow a range of media to be uploaded. If you would like to know more about what can be uploaded to your website, or would like a demonstration, please call 0845 053 0230. Some examples are shown below.
Images
You can upload jpgs, gifs, png, or any format supported by the intended audiences browser.
Once uploaded directly from your machine or digital camera, you can adjust the properties on the image if necessary.
The CMS provides options for optimising the images for downloading, image processing options for colour balancing, sharpening, brightness, contrast, black & white etc and a host other transformations and effects.
Downloads
You can upload files into the system for in any format you like, PDF, DOC, XLS etc. The ability to view any of these files will depend on the downloader having the appropriate viewing software.
Content Delivery Network
Downloadable assets can be password protected or encrypted or delivered via email. Just hit the media upload button and choose a file on your desktop to load the file onto the server.
If you have very high traffic needs you can use our content delivery network. We use Amazon CloudFront to deliver your static and streaming content using a global network of edge locations.
Requests for your objects are automatically routed to the nearest edge location, so content is delivered with the best possible performance.
Google Maps
Just enter a postcode, a width and a height and the CMS will generate a Google map for you. You can attach captions and overlay popups and images. You can control whether its in street view, or satellite or in this example, terrain view.
Video
Upload in any format and let the CMS encode them to support all browsers and devices.
Streaming
Our servers can detect the browser, iPad, iPhone or other device and output Flash, H.264, Ogg Theora or the new Google video format WebM at the right quality and size so that everyone's covered.
Slideshows
Upload several images and automagically create a slideshow.
You can also use this feature to fade between other page elements.
These elements could be anything you want, e.g. images, list-items, tables
Simply produce your own slideshow for your portfolio or advertisings.
You can create a newsticker or do an animation.
Forms
The CMS has a flexible forms designer for capturing data from your customers.
It provides validation, it integrates with the backend databases, it exports to outlook, and it feeds the newsletter systems.
Just choose the form elements you want and what type of validation they need and enter where the data should be sent.
The CMS protects against spam submissions and blacklists people or robots who abuse the form.
Once the form is submitted the CMS shows the thank you message you have entered, sends a email to the customer, and sends an email to the site owner with the contents of the form. The CMS can also alert you by text messages depending on the captured input.
